Well...course is actually quite fun!!! I do not recommend going on holiday vacation weeks, because it is a 1st tee melee....you can expect a gallery behind you while teeing off. It does smooth out after a few holes. I also do not recommend going later in the day, for sunset golf. I don't know how they do it, but they managed to get the center of the sun to accompany you throughout your 18 hole round. It's actually a quite impressive feat!!! Lol
Honestly, it was fun, if you want a good not too serious round...yes, absolutely. Definitely not for everyone though.
The lush greenery and scenic landscapes truly make it a golfer's paradise. Surrounded by nature's beauty, playing a round here feels like a spiritual journey, reminding me of the wonders that God has crafted in the form of the natural world. The well-maintained course, coupled with the breathtaking views, creates a harmonious blend of sport and serenity. It's not just a golfing experience; it's a communion with nature and a grateful acknowledgment of the divine touch in the great outdoors. I highly recommend this course to anyone seeking a golfing haven that connects you with both the game and the awe-inspiring beauty of God's creation.
River Terrace is a nice and unorthodox golf course. I’ve been here many times to play a round with friends. Some negatives: the carts may lose battery life mid-round, pace of play may be slower on weekends, and the bunkers may be more rough on the clubs. Positives: no tee-time reservations so a person can show up to pay and play when they want, greens are sometimes better (if not the same) as other courses in the area, and the course is fun to play without pressure.
River Terrence is great place to play. Greens are fast and very open course.
Decent golf course if you happen to be of the Caucasian persuasion.
Being Hispanic disqualifies you from being a member for some reason.
You Are allowed to bring coolers full of your own beer if you qualify for the BUBBA rule.
But if you happen to be of darker skin you will be accosted if you get caught.
If you are old and white you will be allowed to drive your cart almost on the green, but if you do not qualify you will be accosted as well, and be threatened with removal.
So,
Be white or look the part if you want to enjoy the day.
I said what I said.
$25 for 18 holes. Fairly challenging. Well worth the twenty five bucks.
So far so good. Took the mini me to the driving range and the putting green to start getting a feel for the game. The staff is friendly. The prices are insanely low. I was informed the course is a 4 hour 18 hole course. Spoke with a couple people that had just finished playing and they only had good things to say about the course. It's clean and surprisingly quiet. Large bucket was only about $6.50 with tax. Wish I'd known about this place sooner.
This is a nice little course. Very affordable. Do be prepared to play 4-5 hours if they are busy. The holes run close to each other, so you will have people playing on your fairway coming from the other way, all in all it is a fun little course to play! Staff is always super polite
